Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 2 years Experience in healthcare patient admissions and/or financial counseling and insurance verifications.
• 2 years Experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
• 2 years Experience with Geriatric Care for positions in LTC facility at a Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the administrative and financial aspects of patient admission.
• Serve as liaison between patient, family, referral source and interdisciplinary team to facilitate a smooth admission.
• Act as primary contact for the admission liaison team, patient, family members, and referring agencies during the referral and admission process related to financial coverage and costs.
