Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• 2 years Experience in healthcare patient admissions and/or financial counseling and insurance verifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the administrative and financial aspects of patient admission.
• Serve as a liaison between patient, family, referral source and the interdisciplinary team so that everyone is prepared and informed to facilitate a safe, timely and positive admission experience.
• Work as the primary contact for the admission liaison team, patient, family members, and referring agencies during the referral and admission process related to financial coverage and potential costs.
