Qualifications

• 0-2 years admissions or customer service experience.
• 1-2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and confidentiality required.

Responsabilités

• Register patients accurately and obtain signatures as needed.
• Verify insurance coverage and identify plan codes for billing.
• Explain ABNs and financial documents to patients and families.
• Counsel self-pay patients on costs and payment options.
• Secure and log patient valuables and place armbands on patients.
• Read physician orders and ensure correct order entry for services.
• Notify departments of patient arrivals and follow up on delays.
• Assist with bed assignments and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Operate a multi-line phone system and relay messages.
• Support emergency codes and comply with facility policies.
