Job summary

York General Family Medicine is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Accounts Specialist to lead billing and collections operations on-site in York, NE. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with a daytime schedule, reporting to the Director of the Business Office.

You will oversee charge entry, cash posting, and account balancing, manage billing and payment applications, and prepare reports. A high school diploma or GED is required with at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a love for working with both numbers and people.
  • At least one year of relevant office or billing experience is required, 6 months of medical billing with cash posting experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED
