Job summary

Ascension Health in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Revenue Cycle professional to serve as the initial contact for public inquiries, manage payments and daily correspondence, and ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of cash and deposits within our financial system.

You will review insurance explanations of benefits for accuracy, and collaborate to resolve recurring payment variations and discrepancies, supporting a smooth financial lifecycle for patients and providers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

• Champion the Customer Experience: Serve as the initial point of contact for the public by managing payment inquiries, processing allowances, and handling daily correspondence with empathy and care.
• Master the Financial Lifecycle: Perform precise data entry of payments, post daily cash transactions, and reconcile bank deposits directly into our financial system to secure flawless account data.
• Decipher Complex Insurance Data: Review and validate insurance Explanation of Benefits statements to ensure accuracy and catch discrepancies early.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Partner with our core team to identify, report, and systematically resolve recurring insurance payment variations and unwarranted debit or credit balances.
