• Manages work queue, aging lists, and claims correspondence to ensure timely payments.
• Verifies billing data accuracy and revises errors.
• Reads denied claims to resolve discrepancies and resubmits or files appeal.
• Reviews aging accounts to collect amounts due or escalate for collections.
• Maintains documentation and ensures remittances meet contractual obligations.
• Audits patient accounts and handles non-covered or out-of-network procedures.
• Receives telephone calls; answers inquiries and resolves patient account questions.
• Requires regular and prompt attendance.
• Keeps confidentiality of health information, proprietary information, and employee data.
• Manages customer/client interactions professionally and meets service commitments.
• Demonstrates the philosophy, mission, and values in processes and environment.
