Responsibilities include completing pre-bill edits, processing requests, indexing documents, monitoring workflow trends, and assisting with insurance follow-up, denials, and appeals while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of clerical experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-bill edits and process post-service records requests.
• Coordinate task assignments and prepare daily reports and department communications.
• Index documentation to ensure accurate record management.
• Monitor daily workflow trends and recommend process improvements.
• Provide support for insurance follow-up, denials, appeals, and claim corrections.
• Ensure compliance with policies, HIPAA, Medicare, and payer requirements.
