Job summary

UC Health is seeking a Patient Accounting Representative in the United States to join the Billing and Claims team. The role bills claims electronically, verifies insurance and patient registration, processes, and mails paper claims, working in Epic Revenue Cycle apps.

Candidates must be able to work independently and handle long periods at a computer. Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED with 3–5 years of revenue cycle experience; an Associate degree is preferred.

The Patient Accounting Representative bills claims electronically, verifies insurance and registration for patients, process, and mail paper claims. The Billing and Claims team works several different professional billing workqueues and workqueue types in Epic. Candidates must be able to work independently and be able to physically complete demands of this job which include sitting, typing, using office materials, and the visual acuity to look at computer screens for a long period of time.
