Job summary

Harris is seeking a Patient Account Representative to manage billing queues, verify data, and resolve denied claims across multiple states including Oklahoma, Arkansas, Nevada, Nebraska, and Utah. You will handle inquiries, maintain documentation, and support timely payments while protecting confidentiality of patient information.

In this role, you will collaborate with billing teams, review aging accounts, and escalate when needed.

Qualifications

• Verifies completeness and accuracy of billing data and revises any errors.
• Reads and interprets denied claims in order to resolve discrepancies; resubmits or files appeal for reconsideration.
• Reviews aging accounts to collect amounts due or initiates escalation procedures for collections, according to established guidelines.
• Maintains and protects confidentiality in all aspects of patient health information, proprietary information, and employee information.
