HSHS St. John's Rehabilitation Services is seeking a Patient Account Representative to join our team in Sherman, Illinois.
We're looking for a patient-focused, organized, and service-minded individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Patient Account Representative plays an important role in the patient experience by assisting with registration, scheduling, insurance verification and prior authorizations, phone calls, and other front-office responsibilities.
The Patient Account Representative will provide excellent customer service while accurately registering patients, scheduling appointments, coordinating insurance authorizations, answering phones, and assisting patients with questions and needs throughout their care.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2 years of experience processing medical insurance claims is preferred.
