Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare in Fergus Falls, MN seeks a Patient Access and Revenue Cycle leader to ensure timely, accurate services and excellent patient experience. The role spans registration, billing and related revenue cycle functions with day shifts for an 80-hour biweekly schedule.

The position emphasizes staff leadership, performance reviews, process improvement and strong cross-functional collaboration within Lake Region’s revenue cycle team.

Qualifications

• Expertise in related revenue cycle functions such as patient financial services, medical billing, registration and/or charge coding.
• High School Diploma required; 5 years’ experience and/or advanced degree in business or related area preferred.
• Ability to lead, motivate and coach staff and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provides the highest level of customer service through face-to-face, telephone and written contact with patients and representatives.
• Leads, motivates, coaches and develops direct and indirect staff to ensure high-quality work products.
• Reviews staff performance and provides feedback.
• Ensures coverage of functional responsibilities and assigns staff as needed.
• Builds strong working relationships with revenue cycle and organizational personnel.
• Documents and communicates progress, findings, and recommendations to revenue cycle management.
• Participates in revenue cycle performance excellence and process improvement initiatives.
• Backs up related revenue cycle positions as needed.
• Oversees scheduling for patient registration and department staffing.
• Maintains patient experience metrics and reports.
