BayCare Health System in Winter Haven, FL, is seeking a Patient Access Services Coordinator in the Imaging Department. The role covers Front Desk, Registration, Scheduling, Financial Counseling, Bed Control, and more, supporting smooth patient access and service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably an Associate's Degree. This is a full-time position with a daytime schedule and weekend-free shifts.

Responsibilities

• Performing functions in PAS modalities: Front Desk, Registration, Scheduling, Financial Counseling, Bed Control, Cashier, Insurance, and Document Imaging
• Resolves PAS and customer service issues
• Processes payroll
• Maintains department staffing schedules
• Assists the manager in guiding PAS Representatives
• May rotate shifts and occasionally takes on-call responsibilities
• Performs other duties as assigned

Title: Patient Access Services Coordinator

Facility: Winter Haven Hospital - Imaging Department

The Patient Access Service (PAS) Coordinator Is Responsible For

• Performing functions in any or all of the following PAS modalities: Front Desk, Registration, Scheduling, Financial Counseling, Bed Control, Cashier, Insurance, and Document Imaging
• Proficient in all of the Patient Access Service modalities within the department
• Resolves PAS and customer service issues
• Processes payroll
• Maintains department staffing schedules
• Assists the manager in providing guidance and direction to the Patient Access Service Representatives
• May be required to rotate shifts, and occasionally takes on-call responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
