Job summary

MemorialCare Health System in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Registration Representative to complete patient registrations for procedures, admissions, outpatient and ER visits. You will verify demographics and insurance information to ensure accurate identification and billing.

The role requires posting payments in Epic and delivering exceptional customer service to patients and staff, with day shift hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Medical Office/Admitting/Registration or equivalent healthcare experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish, or English/Vietnamese) preferred
• General computer skills including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately in Epic and complete all registrations.
• Verify demographics and insurance information for accurate identification and billing.
• Collect and post patient payments; drop payments in the safe or cash drawer.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, clinicians and co-workers.
