Adventist Health in Tehachapi, CA is seeking a Patient Access representative to register patients accurately and timely. You will interview patients to collect account information, verify insurance, calculate patient liability, and obtain signatures for treatment.

You may escort patients and prepare forms for each department to ensure seamless care. The role requires high school or equivalent education; associates/technical degree preferred.

Competenze

• Education preferred: high school or GED; associate/technical degree preferred.
• Experience in patient access/registration is desirable.

Mansioni

• Check physician orders and attach to patient medical record to ensure appropriate tests.
• Verify insurance by selecting the correct health plan and entering required authorizations.
• Follow guidelines and instructions from senior staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
