Job summary

Adventist Health Roseville is seeking a dedicated Associate for patient access to ensure timely and accurate patient registration and insurance verification. You will interview patients, collect liability amounts, obtain signatures, and attach physicians' orders to records to guarantee correct tests are performed.

In this role, you will support various units, assist with paperwork, and coordinate patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Responsibilities

• Check for physician orders and attach them to patient medical records to ensure correct tests.
• Verify health plan and insurance information; enter all authorization information accurately as needed.
• Follow guidelines and instructions from senior staff.
• Collect patient signatures for treatment as required.
• Escort patients to their area or refer to an available escort as needed.

Education
