Qualifications

• Accurate data entry for scheduling and registration.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains necessary authorizations.
• Calculates and collects the patient portion based on benefits and contracts.
• Communicates with patients and families clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Accurately inputs data for scheduling and registration.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains necessary authorizations.
• Calculates and collects estimated patient portions and prior balances.
• Performs financial assessment for program assistance.
• Obtains signatures on necessary hospital documents.
• Represents the department professionally at all times.
• Supports department to accommodate patient volume and shift changes.
• Completes required training and adheres to standard processes.
