Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA within one year of hire.
• Minimum of two years hospital registration or insurance verification experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding basics.

Responsibilities

• Research, collect, and analyze information in patient access.
• Explain insurance benefits and verify eligibility.
• Perform outpatient and/or inpatient registration and insurance verification.
• Collect patient financial liability payments and ensure payer pre-certifications.
