Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete preregistration, re-registration and/or re-verification following department procedures using registration/billing systems.
• Identify, verify, and document insurance coverage for scheduled services using electronic and manual sources.
• Answer phones, greet patients, and support scheduling and front desk functions in a patient-centered environment.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, schedulers, and insurance companies by phone to obtain accurate demographic and liability information.
• Maintain calm, efficient performance and provide a positive, welcoming experience for patients and families.
