What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Pre-register and schedule patient appointments for assigned services with appropriate providers
- Direct calls to the appropriate area for services not provided in Patient Access Scheduling
- Receive requests for information and ensure timely distribution of materials
- Schedule, admit, and pre-authorize insurance for all patients in the assigned area
- Act as the first point of contact, providing empathetic and compassionate solutions to patients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years in a direct customer-facing sales or service setting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate of Arts Degree or completion of a medical terminology program
- 2 years of experience in a medical setting
