Responsibilities
  • Pre-register and schedule patient appointments for assigned services at the appropriate location with the right providers
  • Direct calls to the appropriate area for services not provided in Patient Access Scheduling
  • Receive requests for information and ensure timely distribution of materials
  • Schedule, admit, and pre-authorize insurance for all patients in the assigned area
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing empathetic and compassionate assistance in navigating the healthcare system
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years in a direct customer-facing sales or service setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate of Arts Degree or completion of a medical terminology program
