Job Description
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Patient Access Representative (per diem) in the Patient Access Department at Morristown Medical Center to work varying shifts, including every other weekend.
Summary:
The Patient Access Representative (PAR) plays a vital role in the patient and family experience, serving as an initial point of contact within our health system. Responsibilities include securing accurate patient information, interpreting and communicating patient responsibilities, and ensuring accurate patient identification. The PAR is expected to greet customers with a smile, address them by name in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner, and attempt to resolve questions and concerns. Ideal candidates will be adaptable to changes, meet shift expectations, and handle challenging customers effectively.
