UTHealth Houston Department of Surgery is hiring a Patient Access Representative to support the Minimally Invasive Surgeons of Texas (MIST) Clinic located at Bellaire Station. Previous front desk experience and EPIC EHR experience highly preferred.

Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring medical necessity compliance, verifying eligibility, and posting payments.
Position Key Accountabilities:
Certification/Skills:
Ability to multi-task. Proficient typing/keyboarding skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of experience in a hospital or medical business office setting.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently and/or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
