What You Will Do

  • Toggling multiple systems & applications
  • Remote patient registration
  • Census Reconciliation- Hospital vs. Patient registration data
  • Patient Identification/Demographic updates
  • Insurance verification, mapping correct plan codes to insurance types
  • Hold codes- Identify and Hold encounters pending follow up
  • Resolving Unbilled encounters
  • Electronic communications- Provider, Medical Record request
  • Attend team daily huddles; to received and provide process report performance outcomes
  • Performance/Productivity- Daily/Weekly huddles MS Teams

What You Will Need

  • High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent in lieu of diploma/GED
  • 0-2+ years relevant experience in healthcare with knowledge of the following; billing and collections, medical insurance claims procedures and documentation, patient care charts and histories, patient registration procedures and documentation.

What Would Be Nice To Have

  • Familiar with Insurance payer portal
  • Realtime Insurance eligibility verifications
  • Knowledge of Health Insurance plans, HMO, PPO, Manage Care and replace plan coverage.

The annual salary range for this position is $34,000.00-$56,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
