Grace Health in Kentucky seeks a friendly, detail-oriented patient receptionist to manage front desk operations and welcome patients.

You will update charts, verify insurance, schedule appointments, collect co-pays, and ensure a smooth patient flow using our EHR system. The role emphasizes compassionate communication and teamwork.

This on-site position supports our mission to provide high-quality primary care and offers a stable schedule and opportunities to contribute to patient-centered care.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years medical office experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Open office daily and provide adequate reception area environment for all patients.
• Update patient’s demographic and insurance information at each visit.
• Communicate and interact effectively with patients and families, physicians, and peers to maximize successful patient outcomes.
• Answer telephone calls courteously and direct calls appropriately.
• Monitor the Schedule for workflow and patient wait times.
• Create new charts and encounters through electronic registration.
• Obtain proper patient identification and pictures, including any custody/guarantor documents.
• Register each patient to create encounters electronically while obtaining and inputting correct patient information.
• Collect co-pays and receive cash and check payments.
• Verify Insurance Coverage and Information for each patient.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Check EHR tasks and handle requests and jobs assigned therein efficiently.
• Close Clinic as assigned.
• Cover the patient check out and scheduling position for breaks, lunch, and other absences.
• Provide spiritual care for the patients.
• Perform all aspects of sliding fee process.
• Perform encounter audits.
• Be proficient in PM and EHR software.

Summary
