Job Overview

This is a standing job posting for a full-time PAR II position with the Scheduling & Registration Call Center team. Applications are reviewed as openings become available. This position is remote eligible after successful completion of on-site training.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all registration activities for patients in various access areas, cross-trained in at least 3 functions.
  • Obtain financial clearance, verify insurance electronically or via phone.
  • Secure or assign medical record numbers following policies.
  • Select and verify physician information, handle privilege issues.
  • Interact with patients professionally, explain forms, and obtain signatures.
  • Handle inquiries, collect payments, and meet collection goals.
  • Resolve QA errors and collaborate with physicians and departments for accurate registration.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • 2+ years healthcare experience in Patient Access or Revenue Cycle roles.
  • Experience with high-volume calls and healthcare call centers preferred.
  • Flexible scheduling, including evenings.
