Atlantic Health System is seeking a Patient Access Representative (full-time) in the Patient Access Department at Overlook Medical Center to work overnight shifts, including every other weekend.

Summary:

The Patient Access Representative (PAR) plays a vital role in the patient and family experience, serving as an initial point of contact within our health system. Responsibilities include securing accurate patient information, interpreting and communicating patient responsibilities, and ensuring accurate patient identification—key for the organization’s financial and operational success. The PAR should greet customers courteously, address them by name, and aim to resolve questions and concerns professionally. Ideal candidates will be adaptable to work environment changes, meet shift expectations, and handle challenging customers.

Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift in excess of 25 lbs if needed

Preferred:

  • Relevant certifications as required for the role
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience within Revenue Cycle
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, preferably EPIC
