Patient Access Rep-Central Registration (FT DAY) Abington Jefferson Health

Job Details:

  • Shift: 6A-2:30P
  • Schedule: Mon - Fri with occasional Saturdays

Responsibilities include providing a positive patient experience, demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills, accurately registering patients, gathering demographic and insurance information, verifying insurance, and ensuring referrals and authorizations are on file. The role also involves interacting with patients, requesting photo IDs and insurance cards, and using various tools to verify coverage.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience in a healthcare or customer-facing role; current Jefferson Seamless Access Representatives with 1+ year of experience are considered qualified

Work Shift: Day shift in the United States

Location: 1200 Old York Road, Abington, PA
