Verifies insurance coverage and helps to ensure accurate billing and account setup for smooth access to medical services. Ensures that accurate data entry for the billing and insurance claims. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically, reports to a supervisor or manager. High school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years of related experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
