Job summary

Adventist Health Visalia is seeking a part-time Patient Access associate responsible for timely patient registration, verification of insurance and collection of patient liability. You will interview patients, collect necessary information, and ensure accurate data entry for billing and testing workflows.

In this role you will explain policies clearly, obtain required signatures, attach physician orders to records, and assist with escorting patients to the appropriate departments as needed,

Qualifications

• Timely and accurate patient registration is required.
• Experience verifying insurance and collecting patient liabilities.
• Ability to obtain signatures for treatment.
• Excellent communication with patients and staff.
• Follow established policies and procedures.
