Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role preferred.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, completes full patient registration at date of service, and explains hospital forms.
• Educates patients about financial liabilities and collects applicable payments.
• Secures insurance verification, authorizations, and coordinates post-discharge care when needed.
