Qualifications

• Operates the registration system, searches MPI, and notes charges.
• Secures signatures for treatments and manages patient records.
• Registers/adits patients after hours and coordinates with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients at workstation or bedside to obtain all necessary data.
• Verify insurance benefits and pre-certification/authorization statuses.
• Explain services and billing policies to patients and families.
• Process charts according to workflow and productivity standards.
• Collect co-pays, deposits, and deductibles; document collection status.
• Prepare daily deposits and manage cash drawer integrity.
• Route admission documents and ensure proper paperwork alignment.
