Patient Access Registrar, Peace, Fulltime

We are hiring a Patient Access Registrar at Peace - Louisville. This full-time position involves greeting and interviewing patients, collecting personal, medical, and financial information, verifying insurance details, and ensuring accurate billing and patient placement. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Location: Peace - Louisville, 2020 Newburg Rd., Louisville, KY 40205

Shift: Third Shift (United States of America)

Responsibilities include:
  • Greeting patients courteously and professionally
  • Collecting and entering accurate patient and insurance information
  • Ensuring forms, authorizations, and consents are completed
  • Reviewing insurance details and assigning appropriate payor plan codes
  • Assigning patient types and beds, coordinating with medical staff for accurate placement
  • Documenting physician information correctly in the hospital system
  • Monitoring patient wait times and registration status
Additional duties:
  • Adhering to hospital policies and regulations
  • Maintaining efficient patient flow and a professional image
  • Participating in meetings and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Minimum qualifications:
