Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of Patient Access or healthcare registration experience.
• Working knowledge of insurance plans, referrals, authorizations, and financial counseling workflows.
• Experience with hospital registration systems (Cerner, STAR, Meditech, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Operate as a resource for frontline staff and support the Patient Access Manager with daily operational oversight.
• Assist with implementation of new workflows, policies, and process improvements.
• Monitor staffing coverage, patient volume, and service levels; identify operational risks and escalate as needed.
• Perform routine audits of Patient Access workflows and report findings to leadership.
