Qualifications

• 1-2 years Customer Service experience required.
• 1-2 years Healthcare experience preferred.
• 1-2 years Insurance experience preferred.
• High School Diploma required.
• Proficient in patient privacy and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize multiple systems and interfaces.
• Cross-train to work in multiple patient access areas.
• Maintain service excellence for face-to-face and telephonic encounters.
• Contribute to PAS goals (e.g., Collections, Palm Scanning).
• Comply with State and Federal regulations (EMTALA, AHCA, JCAHO).
• Maintain professional relationships with clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of patient consent forms.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
