Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration.
• National Certification of CHAA required by hire.
• 3 years of experience in Patient Access or business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes.
• 1 year knowledge of Epic applications.

Responsibilities

• Secure appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring timely documentation.
