GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Manages and coordinates the daily operations of the respective areas to ensure successful completion of all organizational objectives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs all steps necessary relative to hiring, evaluating, coaching, promoting, disciplining and discharging employees by following established HR policies. (20%)
  • Manages staff and functions of respective areas and monitors staff productivity. (20%)
  • Oversees the training, development and continuing education for all staff. (20%)
  • Acts as a resource/liaison to other hospital departments to resolve issues related to patient access services. (20%)
  • Assures compliance with Federal and State regulations and JC standards. (20%)
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum

  • Bachelor’s degree or 1-2 years’ related experience and/or training or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of software

Preferred

  • Prior supervisory experience
