What You Will Do

As a Patient Access Liaison, you will provide logistical, non-medical educational assistance to patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff. Your role involves educating on insurance coverage, prior authorization, financial support, and maintaining relationships to support ongoing therapy compliance. You will collaborate with internal teams like Market Access, Medical Affairs, Advocacy, and Site of Care to facilitate patient access to treatments.

  • Secure HIPAA compliance for patients in your region
  • Build relationships with patients and caregivers via various communication methods
  • Assess patient needs and develop education and resource plans
  • Educate on TEPEZZA coverage, prior authorization, and financial assistance programs
  • Support prescribers and care sites on coverage and billing requirements
  • Address access challenges and support claim reviews
  • Partner with Safety and PV for reporting AEs and product complaints
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve patient access
  • Maintain compliance with professional, legal, and regulatory standards
What We Expect of You

Minimum qualifications include a Doctorate with 2 years or a Master's with 4 years, or a Bachelor's with 6 years of relevant experience in patient services or access and reimbursement. Preferred qualifications include a scientific or clinical background, experience with rare diseases, HIPAA and FDA knowledge, and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel up to 50% is expected.
