Responsibilities

• Check for physician orders and attach them to patient medical record to ensure accurate tests.
• Verify insurance and research to ensure accuracy when verifying coverage and authorization information.
• Explain policies clearly and answer patient questions.
• Print and collate paperwork for each patient for distribution to units/departments.
• Escort patients to their area or arrange escort as needed.
