Long Island Select Healthcare Inc. (LISH) is seeking a Medical Receptionist to provide front desk patient services, appointment coordination, and smooth operation support for our Suffolk County clinics.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, EMR proficiency, and multitasking ability in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. This role is based at our NY sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service or administrative role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records.
• Bilingual English and Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in patients with a warm, friendly welcome.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments by phone and in person.
• Collect and verify patient information, including insurance and medical history.
• Maintain and update patient records in the EMR system.
• Manage daily phone calls to coordinate patient care.
• Coordinate with staff to communicate test results and follow-ups.
