• Verify information and ensure accurate data entry; maintain accuracy in MPI/records.
• Identify and verify elements affecting reimbursement; obtain pre-authorization when needed.
• Review patient financial responsibility prior to service; collect deductibles and co-pays.
• Complete reports and queues within specified timeframes.
• Maintain Master Patient Index (MPI) and avoid duplicate entries.
• Achieve patient throughput standards with wait times under 5 minutes.
