Envera Health's Patient Access Coordinators work collaboratively with health organizations and clinics to schedule patient appointments and provide support over the phone.

Responsibilities of Patient Access Coordinator:
  • Answer a high volume of calls daily using a multi-line phone system (75+ calls/shift)
  • Schedule appointments across multiple clinical sites per client protocols
  • Gather and input patient demographic and insurance information into the system
  • Report complex clinical issues to supervisors or client partners
  • Document call activities, outcomes, and notes in the client system
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet departmental goals
  • Assist callers and direct them to appropriate resources
  • Meet attendance and performance standards

The starting wage for this entry-level position is: $16.00/hour (non-negotiable), with potential for additional monthly bonuses based on attendance and performance. New employees may be eligible for a retention bonus of up to $500 after 90 and 180 days, details provided during orientation.

Required Qualifications:
  • Customer/patient service skills
  • Experience handling high-volume inbound calls
  • Excellent phone communication skills
  • Strong internet speed and access to Ethernet router (minimum 20mbps download, 6mbps upload)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ year experience with HIPAA and patient privacy
  • 2+ years experience with medical terminology, EHR systems, and insurance processes
  • 2+ years experience in healthcare customer service or clinical support
  • 2+ years in a call center environment
  • Experience with EPIC system
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
