Envera Health's Patient Access Coordinators work collaboratively with several health organizations & clinics to schedule patient appointments and provide patient support over the phone in a call center environment.

Patient Access Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of calls daily using a multi-line phone system. (75+ calls/shift - Call Center)
  • Schedule appointments for multiple clinical sites according to client-specific protocols.
  • Gather & input patient demographic and insurance information into the practice management system.
  • Report complex clinical issues to the appropriate supervisor/client partner.
  • Document call activity, outcomes, and other notes as needed in the client system.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet department goals and objectives.
  • Assist callers and navigate them to the appropriate resources.
  • Must meet attendance and performance standards.
Additional Requirements:

Applicants must reside in Texas for this Work From Home position.

The starting wage for this entry-level position is: $16.00/hour (non-negotiable), with the potential to earn additional monthly bonuses based on attendance & performance.

The pay scale for this position ranges from $16.00 - $19.50 per hour.

Required Qualifications:

  • Customer/patient service skills
  • Experience handling a high volume of inbound calls
  • Excellent communication skills over the phone
  • Strong Internet speed & access to router via Ethernet cord (Minimum speed: 20 Mbps Download & 6 Mbps Upload)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare exposure
  • Experience using EMR and scheduling software
  • Experience in EPIC system
  • Call center experience
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
