Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments according to practice protocols and patient preference.
• Obtains accurate and complete patient demographic and insurance information.
• Processes all requests for medical records according to Orlando Health and department policies and procedures.
• Adheres to Orlando Health policies and value statements.
• Demonstrates competency in use of office equipment and answers telephone calls appropriately.
• Demonstrates a Commitment to Excellence and engages to improve patient satisfaction.
• Interacts with patients and families professionally.
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance per policy.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Participates in Quality Assurance activities as assigned.
• Awareness of legal issues, patient rights and regulatory standards.
• Keeps supplies efficient and assists billing as requested.
