PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Acworth, GA is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for patients, handling check-in/out, payments, and documentation while ensuring a positive clinic experience.

You will support clinic operations, coordinate with therapists, and ensure HIPAA compliance, accurate records, and smooth scheduling. PT Solutions offers training, mentorship, and growth within a nationwide PT practice.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service or healthcare front office experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR systems and scheduling platforms preferred.
• Must meet all compliance, background check, and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, manage check-in/out, verify information, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Handle payments, explain financial responsibilities, and maintain accurate daily financial records.
• Support clinic operations by managing phones, schedules, referrals, and EMR documentation.
• Deliver a positive patient experience by assisting with questions and addressing concerns professionally.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance, insurance processes, and accurate documentation standards.
• Collaborate with therapists and internal teams to coordinate care and resolve access or scheduling issues.
• Assist with clinic operations, special projects, and provide coverage support as needed.

Your Responsibilities As a Patient Access Coordinator

Qualifications

• At minimum, a High School or GED diploma (Submission of diploma for the highest level of education obtained will be required).
• 1-2 years of customer service or healthcare front office experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR systems and scheduling platforms strongly preferred.
• Must meet all compliance, background check, and onboarding requirements.

Schedule

• Full Time: Mon-Fri (schedule varies, must be able to do opening shifts (7am) as well as closing shifts (7pm))

Compensation

• Pay Range: $16-$18/hour
• (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position)
