Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. in the United States is seeking an entry-level Patient Access professional to welcome patients, support registration, route communications, and answer general inquiries in person, by phone or email.

The on-site role requires a high school diploma or equivalent; no experience is required. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.10 per hour, with annualized compensation and a competitive benefits package based on role and location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Utilization of technology to support patient registration.
• Routes written communications as appropriate.
• Communicates with others in person, by telephone, and/or email utilizing various communication technologies.
• Will receive patients and visitors and handle general inquiries.
• Determines work priorities on assigned shifts.
• Assist with supporting associates on new procedures and duties to be performed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Patient Access Manager or Team Lead as needed.
