Job summary

CHRISTUS Health's Family Health Center in Alamogordo, NM is seeking a friendly front desk receptionist who welcomes patients and visitors, assists with appointments, handles billing-related actions, and ensures accurate patient demographics in the hospital computer system.

This full-time role runs 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and requires a High School Diploma. The successful candidate will perform clerical tasks, answer phones, verify insurance, and support the center's daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the debit and credit of client accounts
• Performs posting operation to institutional clients, and reviews all billing transactions related to accounts receivable system
• Resolves client inquiries and complaints on institutional billing transactions
• Perform order entry, registration, and other clerical duties
• Perform the training of all clerical staff in the proper registration and printing of patient reports
• Perform other clerical duties as needed which can include insurance verification, recording statistics, registering patients and updating patient accounts
• Also assists with scheduling patient appointments, answers phones and inform patients of their benefits
• Also, complete other duties as needed
