A leading healthcare organization in Miami is looking for a Patient Access Coordinator who will ensure efficient patient flow and provide excellent service. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong customer service skills and knowledge of insurance and medical terminology. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating patient flow, ensuring timely processing, and maintaining knowledge of practices used within the department, physician practice, or hospital to address patient questions or concerns. The role requires knowledge of insurance requirements, Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF) pricing, financial assistance options, and overall BHSF Revenue Cycle operations. The employee will practice the BHSF philosophy of service excellence by providing professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients of all ages, families, employees, physicians, and community members.
