The PATHS program is a cohort-based pre-college program for high school students, especially those who are first-generation or low-income. Our goal is for students to achieve high school success and college readiness. Students participate year‑round from the summer before their freshmen year of high school until graduation. The program provides access to university resources and a learning community to prepare students to pursue higher education.
PATHS is looking for mentors to be experienced and trusted advisors who form supportive, coaching relationships and assist students in completing high school and applying for college. Mentors are expected to:
High School Diploma, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience); demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are required.
The incumbent will be required to pass a Bureau of Criminal Investigation ( BCI ) Background check
