Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Pathology Reporting Specialist at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota Medical Center-East Bank. This full-time role offers an 80 hours/2 week pay period with 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, and no weekends or holidays.

The PRS supports pathologists and lab staff by ensuring accurate documentation, data input, test ordering, billing entries, and audits.

Qualifications

• Requires A.A./A.S. or 24 credits; diploma or transcript must be provided.
• Proficient with office suite and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Follow all department standard operating procedures.
• Serve as resource and mentor to others by training, educating, and mentoring both new and existing members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; seek assistance for issues outside training or experience.
• Adhere to laboratory customer service standards, maintain confidentiality, promote teamwork, and ensure clear communication.
• Follow SOPs, QA, performance improvement, and compliance programs; demonstrate competency and compliance.
