Responsibilities
  • Oversee and analyze safety events related to Pathology, including investigations and regulatory reporting
  • Collaborate with risk management and operational leaders to document and review laboratory safety concerns
  • Design and implement process improvement initiatives based on identified risks and opportunities
  • Review NRC Patient Experience Survey results and ensure appropriate follow-up by operational leaders
  • Facilitate a culture of psychological safety among staff by modeling high-reliability organizational principles
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), Nursing, or a related field
  • Licenses and Credentials: MLS, RN, CPHRM, CPHQ, or other quality/process improvement certification
  • 5+ years of experience in complex healthcare operations, patient safety, or project management
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical laboratory operations or healthcare risk management
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master\'s Degree in a related field of study
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills for managing sensitive issues
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during harmful patient events
  • Strong presentation skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
